What is the Australia-China Emerging Leaders’ Summit (ACELS)?
If you would like to get involved with ACELS, but do not wish to apply for a director role, please consider applying for an ACELS officer position.
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of ACELS. This role will be under the guidance of the ACYA National Executive.
The Communications Director is responsible for managing the internal and external communications for ACELS, including organising ACELS marketing and advertising in the lead-up to and during the summit.
The Delegates Director is responsible for overseeing the application process of ACELS, ensuring a diverse range of delegates are selected who can bring value and contribute to discussions.
The Logistics Director is responsible for ensuring that ACELS progresses smoothly, through organising and coordinating the day-to-day running of the conference.
The Content Director is responsible for playing a leading role in creating, designing and curating the content of ACELS.
Australia China Business Council Internship
ACYA Women's Network Manager is appointed by the ACYA National Executive Team and is responsible for the operation of the ACYA Women's Network.
The translations officer will work with the Translations Director to translate materials for the ACYA website, social media platforms, publications, newsletters and other miscellaneous documents.
Publications Officers are primarily responsible for assisting the Publications Director in managing ACYA’s publications, including monthly newsletter, articles for the ACYA website and other writing pieces
The Partnerships Officer will assist the Partnerships Manager in the fostering and proactive development of both existing and potential future partnerships of ACYA.
The People-to-People (P2P) Officer will assist the P2P Director in overseeing and managing ACYA’s social partnerships, events and operations in line with organisational strategies and policies.
Media Officers are primarily responsible for the execution of ACYA’s social media presence on English and Chinese language social media platforms.
The IT officer assists the IT Director in tech support, website maintenance, and user administration.
The Education Officer will assist the Education Director in overseeing and managing ACYA’s education-focused partnerships and associated operations, in line with organisational strategies and policies.
The Careers Team secures and promotes internships and other career related opportunities, while also developing job-readiness through events and initiatives for ACYA members.
The China Secretaries will assist in the effective management of ACYA’s China chapters and operations, in line with organisational strategies and policies.
The Australia Secretaries will assist in the effective management of ACYA’s Australia chapters and operations, in line with organisational strategies and policies.
Alumni Officers will liaise with the Alumni Director and the rest of the ACYA Executive to assist in the delivery of alumni events and initiatives.
The objective of the role is to oversee the operations of the ACYA Women’s Network.
The objectives include overseeing active, innovative, and efficient use of information technology resources to support the execution of organisational strategies and policies.
