ACYA - Publications Officer

Publications Officers are primarily responsible for assisting the Publications Director in managing ACYA’s publications, including monthly newsletter, articles for the ACYA website and other writing pieces

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Publications Director
  • Assist the Director in the curation and publication of the Newsletter
  • Propose, write, review and edit articles and other content for the website (writing at least 1 article a month)
  • Conduct interviews and research for the purpose of developing publications

Requirements

  • Strong interest in the Australia-China relationship and ACYA activities
  • Experience and/or an interest in research, writing and editing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills
  • Experience working in a team
  • Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week on average
