With a limited number of 80 delegates, ACELS17 promises an intimate yet impactful gathering of high-calibre individuals ready to shape the future of bilateral relations. This year ACELS will be held in Shanghai!

Under the theme “Renewing Dialogue” ACELS17 is not just talking about change - we’re making it happen. Through insightful discussions, collaborative workshops, and meaningful networking opportunities, we aim to inspire leaders who will steer both nations towards a constructive new phase of cooperation and understanding.

What is ACELS 17? 

Theme: “Renewing the Dialogue” - Embrace a forward-looking approach while drawing from the wisdom of the past. 

Building bridges: Forge lasting connections with like-minded individuals passionate about Australia-China relations. 

Empowerment: Gain valuable knowledge, skills, and insights to tackle existing challenges and create impactful solutions.

Explore Shanghai: Immerse yourself in the dynamic culture and energy of one of the world’s most vibrant cities. 

Eligibility 

  • Between the ages of 18 and 30 
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in the Australia-China relationship, whether it be culturally, professionally, or both
  • Not limited to Australian or Chinese or a previous member of ACYA

 What is the Application Process?

1. Simply fill in the ACELS 17 Delegate Application Form

2. If successfully shortlisted, delegates applied before 10th May, 23:59 (AEST) will pay a Summit Fee of $200 AUD. The fee will cover each delegate’s accommodation, meals and exciting cultural activities for the duration of the Summit.
