ACYA - Publications Director
The objectives of the Director are to oversee and manage the delivery of a high quality, bilingual and topical suite of ACYA publications.

The Publications Director is an appointed position on the ACYA National Executive and is a member of ACYA’s Executive Directors. They are responsible for managing ACYA’s flagship publications as well as compiling its organisational documents like the biannual ACELS Publication and the Annual Report.
Objective
The objectives of the Director are to oversee and manage the delivery of a high quality, bilingual and topical suite of ACYA publications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the following:
- Curation and publication of the ACYA Quarterly Newsletter
- Maintain regular ACYA and Australia-China content on the Australia-China Perspectives Blog
- Oversee and manage the Publications editorial team
- Compile the biannual ACELS Publication
- Compile the Annual Report
- Implementing ACYA’s Editorial Policy
- Report to the Operations Manager each month and attend monthly team meetings
Other Responsibilities
- Represent ACYA in public forums, when required
- Requirements of each role: (time commitment, skills, qualities of a successful candidate, etc.)
- Time commitment of ~10-15 hours/week
- Demonstrated project management ability (team-leadership experiences preferred)
- Demonstrated track record in research, written fluency and publications
- Demonstrated working knowledge and involvement in Australia-China affairs
- Working knowledge of Chinese (preferred)
