Publications Officers are primarily responsible for assisting the Publications Director in managing ACYA’s publications, including monthly newsletter, articles for the ACYA website and other writing pieces
Publications Officers are primarily responsible for assisting the Publications Director in managing ACYA’s publications, including monthly newsletter, articles for the ACYA website and other writing pieces
Responsibilities
- Report to the Publications Director
- Assist the Director in the curation and publication of the Newsletter
- Propose, write, review and edit articles and other content for the website (writing at least 1 article a month)
- Conduct interviews and research for the purpose of developing publications
Requirements
- Strong interest in the Australia-China relationship and ACYA activities
- Experience and/or an interest in research, writing and editing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills
- Experience working in a team
- Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week on average
