ACELS 14
ACELS 14 will be held online across four days over two consecutive weekends – the weekends of the 15th-16th and 22nd-23rd of January 2022.
Under the theme of Rebuilding and Reshaping for 2022, it will bring together passionate delegates from Australia and China to discuss the multifaceted bilateral relationship.

What is ACELS 14?
The Australia-China Emerging Leaders Summit (ACELS) is ACYA’s signature event, uniting and enriching a new generation of Australia-China literate leaders.
ACELS 14 will be held online across four days over two consecutive weekends. Participants will discuss highly topical issues in the Australia-China space as part of the intensive four-day program, ultimately fostering a deeper understanding of our two nations and genuine people-to-people connections.
Participants will be given the unparalleled opportunity to engage with business, diplomatic, cultural and academic leaders in a variety of panels, workshops, and seminars, as well as an array of cultural and social events.
Covid permitting, there will also be offline events and networking opportunities in both Australia and China during the weeks of the Summit.
Who is eligible to attend?
We are looking for delegates who are:
- Between the ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive);
- Available on the 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd of January 2022;
- Able to access the internet and a computer with a working webcam and microphone for the entire duration of ACELS;
- Able to demonstrate a keen interest in the relationship between Australia and China.
Please note previous involvement with ACYA is NOT a prerequisite to attending ACELS 14.
